Notify TFS Prior to Burning
By law, you are required to notify the Texas A&M Forest
Service prior to conducting any prescribed burning for forest management
purposes. Additionally, TFS encourages citizens statewide to notify a TFS
dispatch office prior to any prescribed burning.
To make notification on the day of your burn download the Rx Burn
Notification Form and email to rxburns@tfs.tamu.edu.
There are additional notification requirements depending on the
location, timing, and certification level of the individual conducting the
prescribed burn. For more information on prescribed burn notification
