    RESOURCES THAT HELP PROTECT THE STATE DURING DISASTERS:

    Type III Incident Management Teams support and assist in the management of natural and man-made emergencies, disasters and acts of terrorism.

     
    Lone Star Incident Management Team provides leadership of disaster response occurring either in Texas or other states.
     
    Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System includes grants, training, qualifications and mobilization systems to make statewide use of local resources.
     
    National Wildfire Coordinating Group is an operational group designed to coordinate programs of the participating wildfire management agencies.
     
     

     

     


     + Incident Response Personnel
     
    Regional Fire Coordinators (RFC) are supervisory employees that respond to wildfires as well as interact regularly with the community and local government. RFCs also help train and equip area fire departments and work with local communities to reduce potential wildfire risks.
